The Victorian Commissioner for Residential Tenancies, Dr Heather Holst, warmly congratulates Trina Jones on her appointment as the first Rental Commissioner for New South Wales (External link).
In her role as NSW Rental Commissioner, Ms Jones will be a voice for renters and work with the NSW government and stakeholders on issues that affect renters, such as rental affordability and supply, energy efficiency for renters and protection of renters’ information and privacy.
This important work represents another opportunity to collaboratively develop solutions to the housing challenges that affect renters across Australia and make the rental market fairer.
